🦋🦋 Just Like That 🦋🦋

Inspired by Bonnie Raitt’s 2023 Grammy Award winning song of the year,

On May 31, 2023, Thomas’s 20th birthday, I travelled to Ladoga, Indiana, to meet, Jason, the recipient of his heart. Jason’s wife Beth recorded our entire interview with Scott Allen, photojournalist extraordinaire with NBC Affiliate KLAS in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Being able to watch this moment, for hours and hours, was therapeutic for me.  It brings me pure joy. 

I know it is a difficult watch but stick with it.  Just past the beginning is where the beauty begins. I spent countless days and hours editing this, with a clear purpose in mind, Bonnie Raitt. Please know that my heart aches for all that watch.  I know it is hard.  But it was time, I’ve shared what I’ve held scared.  We move forward and share the joy of whatever becomes of this journey.  

I have reached a turning point over the past two months. Life Link of Georgia gave me purpose. Thomas is alive again. And Bonnie Raitt will learn how important she is to me, my life, my journey.  I love you all.
